The science-based film, ‘The Evidence – Meat Kills’, first announced last month on the Vegan Authority, was launched by Smt. Maneka Gandhi, Hon’ble Union Minister, Govt of India, at the Press Club of India.

The film is promoted as an “anti-tobacco” style campaign against meat. The Vegan Authority feels this significantly minimizes the scope of the film which not only covers the negative affects of meat on the human animal,

New Delhi, Aug 1 : “To consume meat or not to” — has been a never-ending debate between those supporting non-vegetarian lifestyle and those opposing it. And the recent religio-political dash added to slaughter of animals has only accentuated the debate among people.

However, a soon-to-be-released documentary that hinges on scientific evidences from top medical institutions and experts from within and beyond India will possibly bury much of the “to eat or not to” confusion.
